Cookie Policy
1. About This Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how ReFiBuy, Inc. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on refibuyx.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy. ReFiBuy is a B2B catalog optimization platform; the cookies we use are oriented toward operating the service and measuring usage, not toward consumer behavioral advertising.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow us to recognize your device, store preferences, and measure how the site is being used. We also use related technologies such as local storage for banner dismissal state.
3. How We Use Cookies
| Category | Examples | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | session token, CSRF token, cookie-banner dismissal state | session to 12 months |
| Preferences | UI state, navigation preferences | up to 12 months |
| Analytics | anonymized page view measurement, session duration | up to 13 months |
| Marketing | not currently used | N/A |
4. Notice and Choice
Because we operate as a notice-only site under U.S. law, non-essential cookies may be set when you visit. A banner will appear on your first visit notifying you of cookie use. You can opt out of analytics cookies at any time by using our cookie banner (accessible via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer) or by configuring your browser to block or delete cookies.
5. Universal Opt-Out Signals
Where applicable state law requires (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Oregon), we honor browser-transmitted opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") for sale and targeted-advertising categories. When your browser transmits a GPC signal, we suppress analytics initialization for that session. We do not sell or share personal information for behavioral advertising regardless of GPC status.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be set by third parties acting as our service providers, such as analytics tools. We have data processing agreements with such providers limiting their use of data collected on our behalf.
7. Managing Cookies
- Use the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer to reopen our cookie banner and opt out of analytics at any time.
- Browser settings allow you to block or delete cookies. For browser-specific instructions, visit aboutcookies.org.
- Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may impair site functionality, such as maintaining your login session.
8. Changes and Contact
We may update this Policy as our use of cookies changes. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any revision.
